New Tyson's Corner Company Redefining 'Work' Intelligent Office Lets Professionals Work From Anywhere, 24/7
(July 18, 2005, Tyson's Corner, VA.) An innovative new business solution allows Tyson's Corner-area residents to work from anywhere and still have all the professionalism and benefits of a prestigious traditional office. With a 5000 square feet suite of beautiful offices and conference rooms located at 1934 Old Gallows Road, Suite 350, Intelligent Office (IO) opened its doors on June 1, 2005, providing new and more efficient ways to have an office.
"Work is something you do, not a place you have to be," says Hari, who recently opened Intelligent Office in Tyson's Corner. "Our members can work from home, on the road or from the ski slopes. Telephonically, they are in the office everywhere, and their customers don't care that they may not be sitting in a traditional office at that moment."
Hari opened an IO to give businesses all the advantages of a large company but without the usual expenses. For about 10% of the cost of a traditional office, IO members are provided with a prestigious business address for mail services, reception courtesies and client meetings. Members' business calls are answered just like having their own private secretary and can then be seamlessly connected to any phone, anywhere.
IO's "Follow-me Communications" system allows live Remote Receptionists to act as personal secretaries for any client. Each incoming call triggers 6 pages of computer information that allows every call to be personalized to that company. During an orientation, the Remote Receptionist learns how that member wants his calls handled. Wanted calls are announced and then seamlessly connected to a home office, cell phone or other connecting point anywhere in the world. Other calls are transferred to voice mail or are handled with customer service according to the IO member's specifications. "Our clients can work professionally from anywhere without the usual expenses of rent, furniture, phone systems and phone bills," says Ramamurthy.
IO members also gain access to a handsome suite of conference rooms and offices where they can meet clients, use high-tech office equipment, and arrange for drop-off or pick-up services. Their company name is included on the business directory posted in the lobby of the building, and their clients are greeted by one of IO's friendly receptionists.
In addition, members can select from an array of "a la carte" business services at reasonable rates. Upon request, Remote Receptionists can fax information, provide mail and overnight services, do scheduling, registrations or most any other customer service as required. Members can rent office space and conference rooms by the hour, day, week, month or year. Use of printers, copy machines and other office equipment is billed monthly. Members use only what they need and pay for only what they use.
"Most people make an economic decision to join Intelligent Office," says Ralph Gregory, who opened the first IO in Boulder, Colo. "After about a month, they decide it's a better way to live."
